Vadodara: Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari is on a visit to Bharuch and Vadodara today.

He will be observing the Bharuch site and Narmada Bridge today after reaching Vadodara via helicopter. He will also be visiting the progress of the expressway between Bombay to Delhi in Bharuch.

After returning to Vadodara, he will inaugurate the repairing work of National Highway 48 connecting Ahmedabad and Vadodara at Dumad Chokdi from 2.45 PM to 3.15 PM afternoon. He will then flag off 71 hot air balloons representing various government services for the citizens of India at Shastri Pol in Kothi area between 3.40 PM to 4.00 PM. He will distribute the letters approving the monthly pension by the government to 271 widowed women and donate artificial limbs to the specially-abled people between 4.15 PM to 5 PM in Sayajirao Nagar Gruh, Akota.
