New ministers take charge of office before start of Shraddh paksh

Gandhinagar: The new cabinet ministers of Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel’s cabinet took charge from today for their respective positions. The chambers of former cabinet ministers in Swarnim Sankul, Gandhinagar are allotted to the new cabinet ministers.
The ten cabinet ministers are allotted chambers in Swarnim Sankul-1. The chamber of former Deputy CM Nitin Patel on 2nd floor of Swarnim Sankul-1 is allotted to Gujarat Revenue and Law Minister Rajendra Trivedi. The office of DyCM Nitin Patel on the same floor is allotted to new education minister Jitu Vaghani.
Former Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama gifted an idol of Ganesha and a pen to new Education Minister Jitu Vaghani. State Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi entered in his chamber with three books namely Yashasvi Bharat, Bhagavad Gita and My Journey With an Ideology today and took the charge. He is allotted the chamber of former minister of water supply and animal husbandry Kunvarji Bavaliya on 1st floor of Swarnim Sankul-2. The chamber of former State Home Minister Pradipsinh Jadeja in the power centre on the 3rd floor of Swarnim Sankul-2 is allocated to state -level minister RC Makvana.
The new Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel, Urban Development and Urban Housing minister Vinodbhai Moradiya, minister of women and child development and minister of social justice and empowerment minister Manishaben Vakil also took charge today.
The general management department of the state has also made temporary appointments of Personal Assistants (PA) and Personal Secretaries (PS) of the new cabinet ministers for 16th September to 15th November. The Section Officers are appointed as PS and the Deputy Section Officers are appointed as PA of the new cabinet ministers. The no-repeat theory is also implemented in appointing the PA and PS.
