Surat: Varachha police have arrested a man of the city who allegedly abducted a minor Hindu girl and forcefully married with her as per Islamic rituals after taking her to Uttar Pradesh.

According to Police, a 21-year old man named Nabi Hussain Chandgani Alam Shaikh, residing in Varachha area of city abducted a 16-year old Hindu girl studying in 9th class and took her to Uttar Pradesh. He there married with the girl as per Islamic rituals and forced her to adopt Islam. Varachcha police found both and brought them to Surat. Varachha police was looking for adding the sections of Anti-love Jihad Act in this case. DeshGujarat
