BJP releases a 21-page manifesto for GMC election 2021

Gandhinagar: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced a 21-page manifesto of party for Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation (GMC) election, polling for which is scheduled to take place on October 3rd.
BJP has promised Livable and Loveable Gandhinagar and made it a model city.
BJP has targeted to win all 44 seats of GMC. The party has promised speedy recruitment of GMC staffers through GPSC and Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal. The party has assured review of property and professional tax collection in newly added areas of Gandhinagar and promised widening of roads in new town planning scheme areas.
Construction of senior citizen park in Kudasan, children park facility within each existing park, new gardens in 44 plots across 34 town planning scheme areas in 18 villages, library in Kudasan – Sargasan, gym and swimming pool facility in new areas, crematoriums in new areas, Gandhinagar darshan tour facility for visitors are some of other promises made.
The party has promised two ward meetings per week to address the local problems. Underground dustbins, 24-hour water supply under Smart City project, gutter and storm water lines, dustbin distribution to separate dry and wet wastage in door-to-door collection etc are other promises. DeshGujarat
