ACB Gujarat nabs Talati in Rs. 305 bribe case

Gandhinagar: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed Talati Cum Mantri of Piplod village in Devgadh Baria taluka of Dahod district for taking a bribe of Rs 305.
The complainant had a newly built house in the village which he had registered with gram panchayat. The accused Talati Cum Mantri Rajendrabhai Viththalbhai Patel had demanded a bribe of Rs 500 from the complainant for giving a receipt for the payment of tax of this house. The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused was found demanding a bribe of Rs 500 and accepting the amount of Rs 305 as bribe from the complainant during a trap executed by ACB. ACB has detained the accused Talati Cum Mantri.
