Gujarat govt to recruit 27,847 cops in State Police

Gandhinagar: State Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has taken a decision to plan recruitment on 27,847 vacant posts in Gujarat Police.
Minister of state for home Harsh Sanghavi had after taking charge of his office held a meeting on 19 September with the heads of recruitment boards and done detailed review. He had the directed the recruitment boards to plan out the process of recruitment.
According to Sanghavi, the government has taken a decision to plan recruitment on 27,847 vacant posts in Gujarat Police for the posts of police sub inspectors, platoon commanders, intelligence officers, assistant sub inspectors, Lok Rakshak, motor transport and wireless operators, home guards and Gram Rakshak Dal jawans.
