Surat: Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) may complete the target of 100 percent vaccination of eligible persons above 18-year age in the city with first dose of Covid-19 vaccine in a day or two.

The first dose of Covid-19 vaccine was administered to 98.49 % of the eligible population in the city till 3rd October evening. As per a survey, there are a total 34,32,737 people in the city who are above 18 years of age and eligible for Covid-19 vaccination; out of which 33,80,775 people were vaccinated with the first dose.
