There’s no place for third party in Gujarat: CR Patil
October 05, 2021
Gandhinagar: There’s no place for third party in Gujarat, said State BJP chief CR Patil today while addressing the media persons after party’s grand victory in Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation (GMC) and other elections today in reference to AAM Admi Party (AAP) without naming it.
AAP had claimed to win GMC election with clear majority and gathered its cadres from all over Gujarat and even from outside to create spectacle in Gandhinagar during GMC campaign. AAP had also roped Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi for GMC campaign. However it had to satisfy with only 1 seat.
In 44-seat GMC election, BJP has won 41 seats, leaving 2 seats for Congress and 1 for much hyped third party – AAP.
Gujarat is going to witness general election of assembly next year. DeshGujarat
