ACB Gujarat traps Registrar of Sub Registrar Office in Rs. 2,000 bribe case

Gandhinagar: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed the sub registrar of Nandod sub-registrar office in Narmada district in a bribe case of Rs 2,000.
ACB team of Narmada- Rajpipla had received the information that the bribes ranging from Rs 500 to Rs 2,000 is demanded from the applicants coming to Sub-registrar office for document registration.
Moreover, the applicants were annoyed by repeatedly calling and not doing the documents registration on time, if the bribe was not paid.
To verify the information, ACB executed a decoy trap with the help of a decoyer. The accused sub-registrar Dilipkumar Labhshankar Teraiya was found accepting a bribe of Rs 2000 from the decoyer during the trap executed today on 16th October. DeshGujarat
