Amit Shah to inaugurate 4.18 km long 6 lane Sola – Gota elevated corridor

Gandhinagar: Union Home Affairs and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will inaugurated a 4.18 km long 6-lane elevated corridor on Sarkhej – Gandhinagar road connecting Sola to Gota. The elevated corridor is located in Shah’s Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency. It is part of national highway number 147.
The corridor will according to the government have horticulture plantation, median plantation, grade separator, island/rotary junction decoration, VMS facility, ATMS – advanced traffic management system, noise barrier, parking below the flyover, provision of ramps to move to Sola Civil hospital and High Court, service road and rain water gutter facilities and safety features such as concrete crash barriers, metal beam crash barriers and footpath.
The corridor is part of Sanand – Chiloda highway project under which series of flyovers are being constructed to cut all cross roads between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. DeshGujarat
