Amit Shah inaugurates Sola – Gota elevated corridor in his constituency area in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: The city of Ahmedabad’s longest elevated corridor has been inaugurated today morning. It is located on Sarkhej – Gandhinagar road. It connects Sola with Gota. It was inaugurated by union home affairs minister Amit Shah who represents this area in Lok Sabha.
Rs. 170 crore elevated corridor is 2.36 km long and it will ease the traffic on some busy traffic junctions in Kargil petrol pump, Janta nagar and Zydus junctions
Earlier a 1.48 km long flyover connecting Thaltej underpass to railway bridge was opened on 27 June 2021. With addition of 2.360 km long elevated corridor from Gota flyover to Sola science city box, total 4.18 km long flyover journey will be possible.
The government has planned Rs. 913 croe six lanning works from Sarkhej – Gandhinagar to Chiloda stretch of national highway number 147 with provision of service roads on both sides. Out of 13 flyover proposed under this project, 7 are functional. 8th was inaugurated today while 5 are under construction. DeshGujarat
