Asia’s most poisonous snake bites a child in Gujarat; Doctors save her life

Porbandar: A 2-year old girl from Madhavpur in Porbandar district survived from a snakebite by Asia’s most poisonous snake, after receiving treatment at a children’s hospital in Porbandar.
A neurotoxic snake of krait species had bitten her at around 1 pm, after which she was taken to a children hospital in Porbandar by 5 pm through 108 ambulance. She was in a serious condition when she was admitted for treatment. She had gone into a coma during first aid in the 108 ambulance.
The doctors of Jadav children hospital Dr Chirag Jadav and Dr Jay Badiyani had given around 18 anti-snake venoms to her during treatment. She recovered after a 3-day treatment at the hospital. DeshGujarat
