Sabarmati: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has declared one more Micro Containment Zone in the city in connection with Covid-19 infection cases.

The AMC has declared Block-C of sampad Residency on Koteshwar area in Motera-Bhat locality of Chandkheda as Micro Containment Zone. This zone falls in West Zone of AMC. There are total 20 houses in this Micro Containment Zone with population numbering 76.

AMC’s health department will conduct house to house surveillance and screening in this containment zone which is second in two days.

Yesterday the AMC had declared parts of residential society in Isanpur area as Micro Containment Zone.

A day before yesterday, there was a spike noticed in the daily fresh cases with 16 new cases recorded. Yesterday, 14 new cases were recorded. The citizens are concerned because Micro Containment Zones are back after a long time. DeshGujarat
