Sabarmati: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has declared two more micro containment zones, taking the total number of such zones to four in the city.

The new micro containment zones are in Ambawadi and Navrangpura areas of West zone of AMC where rise in covid-19 cases has been witnessed in recent days.

Total 8 houses of Karmanya flat near Artham hospital opposite Government Polytechnic in Ambawadi area have been put under micro containment zone covering 18 persons who reside there.

4th, 5th and 6th floors of G block of Tulip Citadel on Shreyas Tekra locality of Navrangpura have been put under micro containment zone. These three floor consist 6 houses where 20 persons reside.

AMC had last week declared two micro containment zones in Isanpur and Chandkheda area after long time.

AMC health department said, it will do house-to-house screening and surveillance tomorrow onward in two fresh micro containment zones declared today. DeshGujarat
