We have finished contact tracing of over 30 people and we are also doing it further. Out of them, her mother-in-law tested positive and she is isolated. Still, the Omicron variant isn’t found as the sample is sent for genome sequencing. Along with that, one positive case is reported in their neighborhood in a ‘dhobi’ family. Their sample is taken and they are isolated. We have also sent their sample for genome sequencing. Thus, how it is transmitted will be found out through the contact tracing.”
