Jamnagar: The first three patients infected with Omicron variant of Covid-19 have recovered in Gujarat. All three from Jamnagar city are discharged from the hospital after they tested negative for covid. Worth noting that one Omicron covid positive patient in Surat has also recovered yesterday without any complications.

The first case of omicron variant in the state was reported in Jamnagar. A 72-year old man who returned from Zimbabwe had tested positive for the omicron variant following which his wife and brother in law had also tested positive. The three patients were admitted in covid-care center at the dental hospital in Jamnagar.

The 72-year old man was discharged from the hospital after 17 days along with the other two as they tested negative. The three persons are advised to stay in home isolation for another 8 days. There are nil cases of Omicron variant in Jamnagar at present. DeshGujarat
