Gandhinagar: Gujarat has recorded 111 fresh cases of covid-19 in a day against 78 recoveries and two deaths. There are now as many as 668 active covid cases in the State. Among fresh cases recorded in cities, Ahmedabad recorded 43, Surat – 17, Rajkot – 11, Vadodara – 10 and Bhavnagar recorded 1 fresh case. Among fresh cases recorded in districts, Kutch and Valsad recorded 5 cases each, Kheda and Navsari – 4 cases each, Anand and Rajkot – 3 cases each, Mahisagar – 2 cases and Sabarkantha and Surat — 1 case each. More than 2.13 lakh doses of covid vaccines were administered in a day, taking the total count statewide beyond 8.78 crore.
