Sabarmati: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has informed that the city has recorded two new cases of covid–19 infection with Omicron variant. A 37 years old male in Bodakdev area who has been found Omicron case had returned from Nigeria. He is admitted to AMC run SVP hospital. A 42 years old male from Bopal who has been hospitalized in private run CIMS hospital had returned from Dubai. With this the total number of Omicron variant cases of Covid-19 in the city has gone up to 9. It’s worth noting that earlier seven cases had also travel history to foreign countries including Tanzania, Congo, UAE and UK. DeshGujarat
