Gandhinagar: Gujarat has recorded 573 fresh cases of covid-19 in a day against recovery of 102 covid patients and 2 deaths.

The State has now 2,371 active covid cases, among whom 11 are on ventilator support.

Fresh cases recorded in the cities today: Ahmedabad 269, Surat 74, Vadodara 41, Gandhinagar 16, Bhavnagar and Rajkot 10 each, Jamnagar 7, Junagadh 1. Among district, Ahmedabad, Mahisagar, Vadodara each reported 9 fresh cases, Bharuch, Kheda Navsari 8 each, Amreli and Mahesana 5 each, Panchmahal and Surat 4 each, Gandhinagar and Morbi 3 each, Junagadh, Sabarkantha 2 each, Dwarka, Gir Somnath, Surendranagar 1 each.

Over 2.32 lakh doses of covid vaccines were administered in a day across Gujarat, taking the statewide total so far above 8.92 crore. There was no fresh Omicron variant case recorded today in the State. Gujarat has recorded 97 omicron variant cases so far against 44 recoveries/discharge.
