60 Kg narcotics seized at Mundra Port

Bhuj: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) seized 60 kg narcotics from a container that arrived at Mundra port in Kutch.
A team of Delhi NCB unit had arrived at Mundra port after receiving the information about landing of drugs at Mundra port. NCB officials seized the container arrived through a ship at the jetty of number CT3. The container was then sent for investigation at Honeycomb CFC. NCB had also found other 90 packets hidden along with the container in ship. Total 60 kg of marijuana was found from those packets. As per the estimated price of Rs 65,000 per kg, the drug is worth around Rs 40 lakh.
The drugs were sent from Bremerhaven port in Denmark. It was imported by RDMK industries of Punjab. The container was to be sent to Punjab via a container station at Sonipat in Haryana. DeshGujarat
