Youth Congress President faces allegation of taking money for college admission

Dholka/Ahmedabad: Two students and their parents alleged that Gujarat Youth Congress President Vishwanathsinh Vaghela couldn’t manage to ensure the College admissions of the two students from Dholka in pharmacy courses in Ahmedabad despite taking Rs 3.30 lakh from them through a middleman. The parents alleged that they were not even returned the money paid for the admission.
A meeting of the congress leaders of Ahmedabad district was organised at Dholka circuit house yesterday, in which Gujarat Youth Congress President Vishwanathsinh Vaghela remained present. Two students and their parents entered the meeting room and brawled prior to the meeting. The students namely Nikunj Kareliya and Himanshu Patel alleged that Gujarat Youth Congress President Vishwanathsinh Vaghela had taken Rs 1.85 lakh and Rs 1.45 lakh respectively from them.
They alleged that he didn’t arrange their admissions in a pharmacy course despite taking the money. They stated that he didn’t receive their calls when they tried to contact him. The student Nikunj Kareliya said that he had paid Rs 1.85 lakh for admission in B Pharm, but his admission wasn’t arranged. He received an amount of Rs 1 lakh in return and the remaining amount of Rs 85000 is yet pending, he alleged.
To this Vaghela reacted that he was unaware about such money exchange and Congress party’s youth wing doesn’t do such practices. DeshGujarat
