Gandhinagar: A 7-day mahotsav will take place from 27th February to 5th March in Narnarayan Dev Nagar in Adalaj on the completion of 200 years of Swaminarayan Mandir of Kalupur in Ahmedabad.

A drone show will take place in the mahotsav on 1st March, in which over 600 drones will take part. Famous artists of the state namely Padma Shri awardee Bhikhudan Gadhvi, Gitaben Rabari, Aditya Gadhvi, Bhaumik Shah, Kinjal Dave, and Falguni Pathak will perform during mahotsav.

The sants and devotees from India and abroad will join the mahotsav. A 3-day kundi yagna (Vishnuyag) will be performed in the mahotsav. The vaccination drive for covid-19 vaccines and free medical check-up camp will be also arranged.

The religious programs such as poojan of four vedas, pothiyatra, mahapooja, samuh aarti, abhishek of Narnarayan dev, aarti of Sabarmati river, katha varta and so on will take place in the mahotsav. Various social and political leaders will also attend the mahotsav on various days. DeshGujarat
