In pictures: Gujarat students return from war-hit nation Ukraine

Sabarmati: 15 Gujarat students returned from war-hit nation Ukraine in Europe to Ahmedabad safely through a special flight arranged by the Government of India to Mumbai and an AC Volvo GSRTC bus arranged by the Government of Gujarat to Ahmedabad today.
44 Gujarat students from war-hit European country Ukraine returned safely to Mumbai by a special Air India flight arranged by the Government of India last evening. The students boarded two luxury Volvo buses of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) arranged by the State government. Another set of Gujarat students arrived on early Sunday morning at Delhi through another special flight arranged by the Centre. The State government made arrangements for their return journey to Gujarat from Delhi as well.
The State government spokesperson minister Jitubhai Vaghani said the State government has information of 584 Gujarat persons stuck in Ukraine. The State government is in constant touch with India’s ministry of external affairs and embassy. He said the State government has launched a helpline 079-232-38278 (email: [email protected]). The helpline will function between 9 am to 9 pm.
Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel has thanked PM Narendra Modi for the arrangements made for the repatriation of about 100 students from Gujarat stranded in the war-torn areas of Ukraine. The government of India has arranged a special plane to bring back 100 Gujarat students from war-hit Ukraine. The CMO Gujarat stated in a tweet that the state government had made arrangements to bring the students back to Gujarat.
The Chief Minister office informed that special responsibility are assigned to the Resident Commissioner and Commissioner of Geology and Mining Department for the students coming to Delhi and Mumbai respectively. DeshGujarat
