Residents in Surendranagar seek disturbed area act coverage

Surendranagar: The residents of Vardhman Nagar Co-operative housing society in Surendranagar requested the collector to implement disturbed areas act in the society.
They alleged that the houses are purchased by the Muslims by paying higher prices despite a rule has been formed to not to sell the houses to anyone except those belonging from the Jain community.
They alleged that the houses from 6 persons have been purchased by such persons. The society consists of around 100 houses. They claimed that they will start a protest movement if no actions are taken by the government. DeshGujarat
