Vadodara: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed a circle officer of mamlatdar office and a computer operator of the prant office in Karjan in Vadodara district in a bribe case of Rs 55,000.

According to ACB, the RTS appeal of the complainant’s friend was in process under deputy collector, Karjan. The accused circle officer Darshan Chinubhai Patel had demanded a bribe of total Rs 55,000 including Rs 50,000 for himself and Rs 5000 for the accused computer operator Bhagyashri Diliprao Shinde; for favoring note.

The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. During a trap executed by ACB, the accused circle officer was found accepting a bribe of Rs 55,000 from the complainant and giving Rs 5000 out of them to the accused computer operator. ACB detained both accused. DeshGujarat
