Khambhat Ram Navami attack was pre-planned: Police

Khambhat: The violent attack on the Ram Navmi Shobhayatra in Khambhat was preplanned , as revealed in the police investigation.
The police have nabbed three maulvis named Mustakim, Matin and Mohsin and 2 other accused Rajak Aiyub, and Hussain Hashmasha Diwan in this case. People from outside were called for pelting stones on the shobha yatra, it is found. Each accused had allegedly called 5 persons from outside for the violence.
A meeting was also arranged with the people called from outside on the day prior to Ram Navmi and the stones were also collected. The people called in for stone-pelting were assured that nothing will happen to them and that they will be provided legal assistance, as per the reports. The planning was made on the day when the approval for the shobha yatra was received. It is suspected that the funding for the violence was received from outside of India. DeshGujarat
