PM Modi meets Gujarat ministers others at Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi had one-to-one meetings with the cabinet ministers of the state on Monday night in Raj Bhavan, Gandhinagar; during his 3-day visit to Gujarat.
PM Modi reached Raj Bhavan after his visit to Vidhya samiksha kendra on Monday for night stay. PM Modi firstly had a meeting with state revenue minister Rajendra Trivedi. Then, he met cabinet Minister Purnesh Modi and minister of state for tourism Arvind Raiyani. He also met minister of state for education Kirtisinh Vaghela. PM Modi also had one-to-one meetings with minister of state for energy Mukesh Patel, forest minister Kiritsinh Rana and cabinet minister Arjunsinh Rana.
Shweta Brahmbhatt, daughter of congress leader and former municipal health committee chairman Narendra Brahmbhatt, also met PM Modi at Raj Bhavan, on Monday night. PM Modi had a telephonic conversation with his mother Hiraba during his visit, it is learnt.
Minister Mukesh Patel’s meeting with PM
Mukesh Patel, Minister of Agriculture, Energy and PetroChemicals in Gujarat Government discussed a variety of issues with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi; including the goal of achieving 500 gigawatt of electricity generation in Gujarat via renewable energy sources by 2030.
Patel who is the MLA from Olpad constituency gave the details of the developmental works done in his constituency to the PM. Patel informed that 10,922 widows in Olpad constituency are being provided with pension every month. The order issuing pension to 8000 widows in the constituency got registered in the Asian book and Golden Book of World Record.
Patel shared details of four discoms of the Gujarat government. The formation of co-operative societies for Jhinga farming on the pattern of Amul villages of Gujarat was also discussed. The co-operative society will be planned to be designed in such a way that it will integrate all the unorganised fishery farmers of the state involved in Jhinga farming.
Minister Arvind Raiyani’s meeting with PM
Minister of State for Tourism and Pilgrimage development Arvind Raiyani gave PM Narendra Modi a blueprint for development of Dharoi dam, located at a distance of 80 kms from Amabji, as a tourism site.
The plan to develop facilities such as boating, night stay, special amenities for children and women at Dharoi dam was presented to PM. Various tourist attractions will be also developed on the 80-km route from Ambaji to Dharoi. Minister Raiyani informed that various pilgrim sites of Saurashtra will be also developed as tourist places and the plan for the same is being prepared by their department.
