Surat: Aarif, the brother of notorious criminal Surat Sajid alias Sajju Kothari, is on the most wanted list of the police. A team under D-staff’s PSI Hadiya and four constables went to nab Aarif when they got the information that he was hiding in the ghetto of Subhash Nagar near Jilani Bridge. However, a mob of more than hundred local slum dwellers attacked the police team, which helped Aarif to escape. It’s a known fact that Sajju Kothari, his brother and their gang members are experts in escaping by attacking the police force. Even then, a team of just five members was sent to arrest Aarif.
