Jamnagar: The Indian Coast Guard has lodged a complaint against unknown persons with the Jamkhambhalia police under various articles after it came to light that a ship which had originally sought permission to go to Dubai from Salaya instead went to Muscat (Oman).
According to the Coast Guard, not only did the ship go to another destination without approval, they also used crew members poached from other ships on their vessel and took them to Salaya, where they were paid in Indian currency.
The Coast guard has alleged that these unknown persons are guilty of harming the financial interests of the country, were forging documents and showing them to be authentic, and deleting phone data to destroy the evidence.
