Patan: Patan district will emerge as a new tourism destination with the state government sanctioning Rs 4 crore for converting the Wild Ass Sanctuary near Samina Koddha into an eco-tourism spot.
The amount will be used to develop a dormitory tent, a night halt facility, and to develop spots such as sunset point and Ranotsav. Vadilala dam will be developed close to the sanctuary. It will be a double benefit for tourists as they can now enjoy ranotav after offering prayers at the Veer Vaccharaj Dada temple located in the middle of the desert. DeshGujarat
