AMC run school witnesses huge rush for admissions this year

Sabarmati: Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) run Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (SVP) school in Ahmedabad East witnessed a huge rush for admission this year.
There is a waiting of 125 in the Gujarati medium and 200 in the English medium for admission at the school. The school is in Krushna Nagar area of Saijpur in Amdavad. School Principal Chandrakantbhai said that all facilities are given by the government in the school. Everybody is aware that the teachers teach very well there, he said and added that extra curricular activities are also run for the students.
There are class 1 to 8 in both Gujarati and English mediums at the school. There are 862 students in Gujarati medium and 663 students in English medium. The facilities such as midday meal, uniform and so on are given at free cost to the students. The teachers of the school regularly provided online education to the students during covid-19 pandemic.
