Idols of Hanuman, Ganesh, Bhathiji found in debris; Hindu orgs protest against VMC

Vadodara: Local Hindu bodies protested by chanting Ram Dhun after the idols of Hanumanji and Ganesha were found from the debris at Navlakhi ground in Vadodara.
Vadodara mayor Keyur Rokadia and Vadodara municipal commissioner Shalini Agarwal reached Navlakhi ground after learning about the incident and decided to reestablish the idols at a suitable place on urgent basis. The small mandirs of Hanumanji and Ganesha were removed during the demolition conducted at Old Padra Road near Rockstar circle a week ago. The idols found from debris at Navlakhi ground are likely to be the same.
Vadodara Mayor Keyur Rokadia said that the Hanumanji idol will be established near Shanidev mandir at Tarsali at present. The investigation about from which area the idols belong will be also done, he said and added that the planning of reestablishing the idol at the same spot will also be started if the idols really belong from the small mandir near rockstar circle. The karyakarta of Hindu organisations namely NIraj Jain, Viren Rami, Svejal Vyas, gathered at Navlakhi ground after learning about the matter and chanted Hanuman Chalisa.
