PM Narendrabhai likely to dedicate Estol drinking water project in South Gujarat on June 10

Surat/Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to inaugurate the Rs 850 crore Estol drinking water project that will cover mostly tribal areas of the state on June 10. The local administration has begun preparations in full swing for this programme of the prime minister.

Under the Estol project, water of Damanganga river from the Madhu dam will be lifted to the height equal to a 200 storey building for supply to tribals who live in hilly areas of Kaprada and Dharampur talukas of Valsad district. The prime minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for several new projects in south Gujarat on the occasion.

Gujarat to join PM’s virtual programme on May 31

Prime Minister Modi is going to interact virtually with beneficiaries of 13 flagship projects of the central government. The Prime Minister is going to speak with select beneficiaries in select districts of the entire country by video conferencing. On the same day, Chief Minister Bhupenra Patel will first connect with the beneficiaries gathered at every district headquarters by video conferencing from Mahatma Mandir. After interacting with the chief minister, the district headquarters will then join the Prime Minister virtually at around 10:30 AM. For this programme, the Gujarat government will ensure that some beneficiaries of the flagship programmes from every district are available for interaction with the PM at the respective district headquarters.

Only two programmes of PM scheduled on May 28

Prime Minister Modi will reach Rajkot airport on May 28 in the morning from where he will go for the inauguration of a multi-speciality hospital developed by the Patidar Seva Samaj Trust in Atkot of Jasdan taluka. From there, he will arrive at Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar in the afternoon and after a break of 2-3 hours, he will attend a cooperative convention to be held at Mahatma Mandir between 4 and 5 PM.
