PM Modi to do ‘bhumi pujan’ of new govt medical college, hospital at Navsari

Navsari: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will tomorrow conduct ‘bhumi pujan’ of a new 100-seater medical college and a new hospital in Navsari at a total cost of Rs 542.50 crore. The medical college will have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and digital equipments required to operate in the modern age.
The medical college will have separate hostels for boys and girls and lecture theaters will have all audio-video and digital facilities. Besides, there will be a skills laboratory, a multi-purpose hall, various sports facilities, a separate child care center and student council facility.
The new hospital will have a capacity of 450 beds. It will have a total of 8 operation theaters of which 4 will be modular ones. Once ready, this hospital will offer as many as 22 OPD services.
