Cheetahs brought in Cargo plane from Africa for Jamnagar zoo
June 10, 2022
Ahmedabad: As many as 40 Cheetahs reportedly arrived at the Ahmedabad airport in a cargo plane from Africa on Wednesday night, where arrangements were already put in place for them to be taken to Jamnagar.
Looking at the difficulty in taking the animals by road to Jamnagar, the international cargo plane was converted to domestic at the Ahmedabad airport, where it took off at around 11 pm and reached Jamnagar after midnight.
The cheetahs were meant for Asia’s biggest zoo being developed at Jamnagar.
A cargo plane carrying 95 exotic animals for the zoo under development at Jamnagar had arrived at the Ahmedabad airport last month as well. DeshGujarat.
