Juhapura: A group of Muslims today gathered here around noon to protest suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma’s remarks in a TV debate, demanding her arrest. Police had a day ago read the message circulating in social media regarding today’s protest, its venue and timing.  Extra number of cops including lady constables were already deployed in the area since the morning. Police used some force to disperse the protesting crowd which had gathered without permission, while some others protesters left the place after they were warned. Some persons were detained by police.
