Gandhinagar: Start Up and Innovation will play a huge role in fulfilling the dream of PM Narendra Modi of building 5 trillion dollar economy in India, said Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology and Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Chandrashekhar while addressing at the inauguration of incubation centre at Nirma University.

He said that the contribution of the digital economy will be 1 trillion dollars in the 5 trillion dollar economy. The Government of Gujarat has achieved many achievements in the Start Up sector and Gujarat is on the way to emerge as a Start UP hub, he added. He said that the government will achieve the slogan ‘New India for Young India’ collaboratively with the Youth in the upcoming 10 years. The vast opportunities in the technology and skill development sector will create “Techade of Opportunities” in the country, he said.

Many startups of India have emerged in the sectors such as internet, technology, digital, and space technology, he said. It is a pride for all of us that India is progressing in the sectors of semiconductor and artificial intelligence, he added. DeshGujarat
