Gujarat completes more than 14 per cent of average monsoon season rain

Gandhinagar: Gujarat has completed about 14 % of the total average rain so far. As of Monday morning, the state has received a 14.72 % rain of average monsoon with a total rainfall of 125.14 mm against the average of 850 mm, as per the zone-wise report on rainfall dated 4th July 2022.
Surat in South Gujarat region has received the highest rainfall against the average rain of the monsoon season, which stands at 25.14%, followed by 22.06 % in Junagadh and 20.82% in Navsari.
Borsad of Anand district has the highest average rainfall percentage of 45.15%, with total rainfall of 366 mm, followed by 44.13 % in Deodar of Banaskantha.
The average rainfall completed in all regions of Gujarat is:
South Gujarat: 18.50 %, Saurashtra 16.23 %, North Gujarat: 10.45 %, East Central: 10.39 %, Kutch: 7.69 %. DeshGujarat
