Gujarat completes over 12 per cent rain of total normal monsoon season rainfall

Gandhinagar: Gujarat has completed 12.03 % rain of the average monsoon season, with a total rainfall of 102.29 mm reported so far, as per a zone wise rainfall report dated 2nd July.

Surat reported the highest percentage of rain of the average monsoon season among the districts of the state, which is 21.90 percent. Mehsana reported the lowest percent of rain of the average monsoon season which is 3.70 percent.

Palsana taluka in Surat reported the highest rain among the talukas of the state within last 24 hours, which is 209 mm, followed by 190 mm in Diodar taluka of Banaskantha.
