Surat: The court has denied anticipatory bail to two people for allegedly threatening to kill a land broker from Surat city if he failed to withdraw the police complaint he had filed against Sajid alias Sajju Kothari.
Ashraf Kothari (resident of Hanjar Apartment, Shufiyani Gali, Badekha Chakla) and Mohammed Asghar Bagwala (resident of Khalifa Mohalla, Madhuvan Society, Nanpura) had forcibly entered the house of land-broker, Sohail Ahmed Mansur, and threatened him with dire consequences if he did not withdraw the police complaint against Sajju Kothari, who is currently lodged in jail.
The Rander police had registered a criminal offence in this matter against which both Asghar and Ashraf had filed an application for anticipatory bail, which has been dismissed by the court. DeshGujarat
