Olpad: Two students were having fun during the lunch break in the afternoon at KV Mangukiya Divya Jivan Vidyalay in Oldpad. One of them playfully pushed the other Grade 5 student, who suffered an injury in the neck because of hitting against a bench and died. The victim was a resident of the hostel of KV Mangukiya Vidyalay.

Nakshkumar Panchani, the 13-yr-old deceased victim, is the son of Nitin Panchani who does embroidery job work for a living. Naksh studied at KV Mangukiya Divya Jivan Vidyalay and resided at the school’s hostel.

Nakshkumar’s windpipe was severely damaged after hitting against a bench because of the playful push by his co-student. He was taken to a private hospital for medical treatment where he succumbed to his injury. The police have registered a case of accidental death in the matter and initiated legal proceedings.
