Gujarat receives over 61% of total average monsoon season rains so far

Ahmedabad: Gujarat has completed more than 60% of the total average rain. As of Saturday morning, the state has received a 61.01 % rain of average monsoon with a total rainfall of 518.65 mm against the average of 850 mm, as per the zone-wise report on rainfall dated 23rd July 2022. Only two districts – Dahod and Gandhinagar are rain deficient in ongoing monsoon so far.
Kutch District has received the highest rainfall against the average rain of the monsoon season, which stands at 105.23 %, followed by 104.95 in Narmada District and 85.27 % in Valsad.
Lakhpat of Kutch district has the highest average rainfall percentage of 173.45 % with total rainfall of 635 mm, followed by 146.51 % in Bhuj.
