Army rescues a 12 years old girl from 400 feet deep borewell

Surendranagar: The army rescued a 12-year-old girl stuck at 60 to 70 feet depth in a 600 feet deep borehole in Gajanvav in Dhrangadhra taluka in Surendranagar.
The 12-year-old girl named Manisha, daughter of a tribal farm labourer had fallen into a 600-feet deep borehole. She was stuck in it at 60 to 70 feet depth at 7.30 am. The Dhrangadhra prant officer, mamlatdar, taluka development officer, Dhrangadhra army, police, and ambulance reached there and a rescue operation was undertaken.

The oxygen was supplied in the borehole to save her. The army jawans rescued her after a 4-hour rescue operation. She was taken to Dhrangadhra civil hospital for treatment as she was in an unconscious state.
