School of Drone faculty in Kaushalya – The Skill University

Gandhinagar: Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel will inaugurate the ‘School of Drone’ faculty under ‘Kaushalya- The Skill University’ at 11 am on 13th August from the Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar.
Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of the central government has given approval to Kaushalya- The Skill University as Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO) for drone pilot training after conducting checking. So, Kaushalya-The Skill University has become the first state university in the country to be authorized by DGCA.
Around 25 private institutions provide drone training in the country at present at a fee of Rs 50 to 70 thousand. On the other hand, Kaushalya- The Skill University has planned to give the same training at a nominal fee. Around 59 ITI instructors are trained as drone master pilot trainers so far.
A large number of employment opportunities will arise for the youth after getting training in the school of drone faculty in multiple arenas such as agriculture, land surveying, disaster, crime investigation, aerial photography and videography, vigilance monitoring, security, and so on.
