Gujarat Minister Purnesh Modi arranges pilgrimage trip for 4000 senior citizens

Surat: Minister of Tourism and Pilgrimage Development Purnesh Modi has arranged a trip for 4000 senior citizens based in his constituency for Somnath Darshan via 75 buses on 15th August, as part of Shravan Tirth Darshan Yojna.
The Yatra will also cover other religious sites such as Chotila, Gondal, Khodaldham, Bhalka Tirth, Swaminarayan Mandir Vadtal, Bharuch, and Narmada. The stay and meal during the three days of the trip have also been arranged. Shravan Tirth Darshan Yojna is implemented for the tirth yatra by senior citizens of the state during the month of Shravan.
Minister of Tourism and Pilgrimage Development Purnesh Modi informed that the state government will arrange the bus and provide 75 percent of the total expenses if 27 or more persons are going to visit a religious site under Shravan Tirth Darshan Yojna.
