Heavy Rainfall forecast for the next two days in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) office in Gujarat has issued Heavy to very heavy rainfall for the next two days in the state.
“For the next 24 hours, extremely-heavy rainfall is expected in Banaskantha, Patan, Valsad, Daman, Dadar, and Nagar Haveli and isolated places in Kutch. Navsari, Surat, Tapi, Dang, Mehsana, Aravalli and Mahisagar, Surendranagar, and Morbi may receive heavy to very heavy rainfall, while Jamnagar, Dwarka, Amreli, and Somnath may get heavy rains at isolated places,” said Manorama Mohanty, Director at Gujarat headquarters of the central government’s weather department – IMD.
Ahmedabad may receive 5-6 spells of light to Moderate rain. A Fisherman Warning is issued for the whole coast of Gujarat today, and for the south Gujarat coast tomorrow,” Mohanty said.
