Repaired hanging bridge of Morbi to reopen from Gujarati new year day

Morbi: Hanging bridge, the core attractions for visitors to Morbi town has been repaired by private owned Oreva company. It will be reopened for visitors from Gujarati new year day. The bridge, due to severe damage became dangerous for visitors, following which its renovation work was taken up by Oreva after approval by the local civic body. The bridge had suffered damages in the 2001 earthquake also, after which the local civic body had handed over its management to Oreva company. After prolonged opening, the bridge had again suffered damages. It has been now repaired again.
