PM may announce major investment in aerospace and defence in Vadodara

Vadodara: PM Modi is likely to visit Vadodara on 30th October. During the visit, he will be holding a meeting with 5000 industrialists at Leprosy Ground. According to the sources, PM may also announce that one of the biggest Indian business conglomerates may invest a huge ₹ 60,000 crore in Vadodara. This investment will be in the sector of aerospace and defence.
The PM may lay the foundation stone of the manufacturing plant of the Indian Air Force’s manufacturing plant for transport aircraft. If sources are to be believed this investment will be the biggest capital inflow that Vadodara has ever seen and the project comes after the signing of 451 MoUs and agreements committing Rs 1,53,000 crore investment in Gujarat during DefExpo 2022.
