Rajkot: There are now a number of accounts available to confirm that the ropes of the hanging bridge in Morbi were deliberately pulled by some unruly visitors before it collapsed. Various people interviewed by different media entities have said they saw it.

This girl in the video above says that her mother went to stop the boys who were shaking the bridge and then the bridge collapsed.

This youth in the video above also confirms that some people were shaking the bridge.

Earlier a video clip had gone viral in which some youths could be seen kicking off the side of the bridge.

News channel NDTV has also reported an account of a survivor who stated that the bridge was shaken by some people.

CCTV footage of the bridge collapse also shows that at least one person was holding the ropes in an irresponsible and risky manner. There could be more such people doing this. DeshGujarat
