Rajkot AAP leader Rajbha Zala rejoins BJP with supporters

Gandhinagar: Rajbha Zala who was once the Chairman of the Standing Committee in Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) today rejoined Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) with his supporters at the state party headquarters here. Rajbha Zala was previously with BJP and had switched to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in 2020. Gujarat BJP general secretary Pradipsinh Vaghela welcomed him to the party with BJP cap and scarf. Earlier,  one of the three top faces of AAP in Gujarat, Indranil Rajyaguru from Rajkot had left AAP and rejoined Congress.

Rajbha Zala said, “I worked in BJP for 18 years or so but then due to some reasons I joined AAP in May 2020. At that time AAP had no footprints in Gujarat, It was I, who built AAP’s name in Rajkot, with my work and name and fought the corporation elections. Then I was given the responsibility of Bhavnagar, Botad, and Surendranagar as Prabhari and I built the organization there.”

“The party had then told me that “We will never do injustice to workers and will give their work importance but, it only lasted a few days. Then 2-3 months ago Sandip Pathak came from Delhi and he dissolved the whole organization which was built by the hard work of party workers, I still can not get why they did it,” Zala added.

“Today, Thousands of workers are unhappy and feeling cheated as the party has taken a U-turn on its assurance to the workers. I have left the Aam Aadmi Party even after being offered a ticket from Rajkot because I have self-respect and I can’t cheat the workers who joined AAP with me.” said Zala.

Gujarat BJP General Secretary, Pradipsinh Vaghela said, “I welcome Rajbha Zala to BJP and about the years he has spent in the other party, I have been saying this that party is a modern version of Nasalism, they supported the JNU protest who supported Afzal Guru, they opposed CAA which shows their Anti Hindu stand, so today zala has left that party. He will reveal the true policy of AAP that breaking India and Rajbha Zala will travel whole Saurashtra to make AAP workers aware of this. ”
